Nearly 50 Years of Neighbors Helping Neighbors
For nearly 50 years, Orion Communities has served individuals and families who are struggling to meet basic needs, have fallen through the cracks of existing services, or simply do not know where to turn. Our team listens first, then works alongside each person to address what is most pressing and connect them with the right support. Whether someone needs help navigating a crisis, programs for their children, or education that opens new doors, every service we offer is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect.

Our Services
We offer services that help individuals and families address immediate needs, move from crisis to stability, support families, and strengthen community.
Support & Resources
We're the first line of support when individuals and families face crisis. We listen, connect you with resources, and find real solutions to move toward stability. Support includes things like transportation, financial and utility assistance, heating and housing.
Children & Family Enrichment
From after-school STEM and book clubs to summer camp, we offer free, hands-on programs that give children the support they need to keep pace in school and beyond. We also support single moms through GLAD, a program focused on building confidence and new strategies for their families.
Adult & Community Education
Our adult education programs are built around conversation, not lectures. Getting Ahead is a program that helps individuals living in poverty create a personal plan for stability. Bridges Out of Poverty trains organizations and community leaders to be better partners in that work.
