GLAD Single Moms Group
Support for Single Moms
An 8-week course for moms ready for a fresh start
GLAD is a free, 8-week education course offered twice a year for single mothers whose children may be experiencing behavioral challenges, school difficulties, or transitions at home. Research shows that lasting change happens when the whole family is involved, not just the child. Each session is led by a licensed social worker and gives moms practical tools they can use right away, a small group of peers who understand their reality, and the space to set personal goals for themselves and their families. Dinner and childcare for ages 5 to 12 are provided at every session.
WHat We Provide
Each session is designed to strengthen the whole family by equipping moms with practical strategies, professional guidance, and a community of women who understand their experience.
